At the commelini estate

Katie & Marcus are truly a match made in Heaven. They crossed paths multiple times before eventually connecting at Fast Eddys Bar in downtown Spokane - and the rest is history! They carefully planned each detail of their day, and when it finally arrived they showed up with so much excitement and love.

For a first look, they opted for the tradition - Marcus saw Katie for the first time as she walked down the aisle! The ceremony was full of waterworks for everyone. Katie and Marcus took a moment to look at all their wedding guests and take the moment in, then exchanged their personal vows, and entered life as Husband and Wife! 

The moments after their beautiful ceremony turned into one of my favorite memories of my entire career. They entered the bridal getting ready suite, and laughed, danced, and held each other as they yelled "WE GOT MARRIED!!!" "YOU'RE MY HUSBAND!!" "YOU'RE MY WIFE!!". They were absolutely giddy and overjoyed and SO in love, and it was truly one of the most beautiful moments I've witnessed.

Katie and Marcus danced their way into the reception, where the Commellini Estate catered a wonderful pasta dinner, complete with stunning salads and a delicious garlic bread. 

I pulled Mr. & Mrs. Mathews away for their golden hour portraits - my favorite way to let couples soak in their day and be alone for a moment. They took in their friends and family happily eating and talking, their beautiful venue, and each other. I could tell they were soaking in every beautiful moment.

As the sun set, the sky filled with stars over the thousands of string lights over the dance floor. The happy newlyweds danced the night away with family and friends, and shared so many moments together - dancing, singing, laughing. And, as the story goes, the live happily ever after!
